Why We Built This Site
Tennessee law and court rules allow access to many public court records, but custody depends on the case. Ann Goldston's office maintains Roane County Circuit, Criminal, General Sessions, Juvenile, Traffic, and Collections records. Pam May's Clerk and Master office keeps Chancery and Probate Rule and Execution dockets, minutes, and related records. City clerks retain municipal cases. The Tennessee Public Court Records System is useful for participating offices, but it is not a complete statewide trial-court index. The site brings these official routes, contacts, case-number details, and request steps into one organized reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how Roane County criminal court dockets and civil court dockets are found and read
- Court settings: how to use the court schedule and confirm a hearing date
- Case lookups: how to run a docket search by party name, reference, year, or case number
- Record requests: how court case records and certified copies are requested from the proper clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site with no affiliation to any Tennessee court, Roane County clerk, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file
- It cannot change or reset a hearing date
- It cannot remove, seal, or amend a case
- It cannot issue certified court documents
- It cannot provide legal advice about a case
- It cannot guarantee that a fee, setting, or contact remains current
Only the clerk or court that maintains a case can issue its official or certified record. Use the listed official office to obtain the document.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search tools operated by outside providers. Those providers control their services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of these tools may generate a referral fee that supports free public access to this resource. Roane County Court Docket does not control a partner's charges or result content.
